"K" - The Two Brothers - Indian restaurant in Prague, Czech Republic
Very nice people served us, and were patient with us. Food selection and preparation is excellent. Nice place, great food. A good choice of a place for a good meal in Prague.
Good food but expensive. You can expect rice and salad or at least one Option when you order an average chicken curry vor 12 euros. This is common in all majour cities europe. Instead they charged for everything extra. Service was fine
The food was so delicious, great vegetarian options too :my family got the lamb stuffed naan and said it was amazing as well
We had a large table and tried a number of appetizers and mains. Everything was legitimate home style cooking. It must be fresh cooked at time of order as the wait is long. But when it comes, it’s worth the wait.
Perfect Service and really the best Indian food I’ve eaten up to today! Loved this!
What a find! Apart from very nice and cosy atmosphere and lovely staff, the food was simply marvellous. We had the lentil soup that I’d say was our favourite. Lamb was very soft and tender, chicken biryani beautiful and garlic nan was very light and tasty. We’ll definitely come back again to taste more!
Great Indian food. Came here twice before covid. Service and food is still the same. Best Indian food in town. This may seem a little away from the Old Town area, but the prices and food quality are much better than the places in the center of town. Worth the little extra walk.
I went out for lunch with my wife and infant kid. Very good interior and staff is very helpful and polite. We ordered Paneer tikka and dahi ke kebab for starters. Paneer was not marinated, it was like someone just had rubbed masala over it. Dahi in kebab tasted a bit sour. We ordered butter chicken and makhani dal for main course along with butter naan and lachcha prantha. Breads were brilliant, chicken was a bit hard but manageable, daal was ok. There washrooms do not have proper place to clean infants. Overall an average place for the price, could improve a lot on starters. The staff makes this place wonderful.
Didnt like the place at all. Another one of those indian restaurants that starts judging you from the moment you enter, provides poor service , with very average food ( some of the dishes were even below average). I am not going there again and once again I pray that atleast one day so.e indian restaurants will show basic hospitality qualities and serve good food.
No doubt the food and staff were amazing. However, there were small flys on my table and it was hot inside. I advise to have good ventilation which solve both issues.
Amazing food and service, if you are looking for authentic Indian taste, you should definitely visit them. The owner of the restaurant is also very friendly and once you done with your food I would suggest you go and talk to him.Recommended: Mix Veg and Chana Masala,Chicken is also ❤️
We ate here 6 years ago and it was delicuious. (maybe it was another restaurant in the same placeTwo weeks ago, july 2022 we came back and it seed that it had deteriorated a good deal. The food tasted somehow strange. when we got out I had nausea, and stomach ache which lasted several hours. Avoid.
Surprisingly authentic Indian cuisine. Very friendly staff with an owner who knows to crack a joke or 2!Plush, well furnished indoors and a great central location.Recommended!
The food tasted amazing. Everything was sooo good and flavorful, we ordered prawns biryani, K signature platter (mix Indian chicken grills, masala chai and salted lassi. الاكل كان لذيييذ جدا
We love this place. Very good food and great service! Not cheap. English is the primary language, although you can order in Czech too.
I highly recommend the restaurant to those who love Indian food or want to taste it for the first time in their lives. The foods delicious, the owner and the waiters are very helpful. If you dont know what to try, they recommend dishes and explain how they are served. Its important to know that youve got a possibility to choose the spicy or non-spicy version of a certain dish, its up to you. The place is very cosy. When you go to the toilet you find photos of famous people who visited the restaurant. My only advice is that they should rethink the music. What we heard in there was good and popular music. Yet, when I go to this kind of restaurant Id like to hear something more connected with the place the dishes come from because it makes the inimitable atmosphere.
Good ambience and great service. Good quality Indian food in this part of the world and attention to detail. Yes the brothers are at their job insuring you have a good experience. Food can be situated to one’s palate.
We loved the food and staff is very nice. I only would recommend people who are not used to spicy to ask before less spicy as not everyone is use to indian spiceness :)We do recommend to come here.
Having been to many Indian restaurants (as a European)... I have to say this is the best Ive tried. They could improve the decor a bit, but the food is spot on. So many interesting dishes, wanted to try them all!
Wow. Some of the best Indian food I’ve had since visiting Rajasthan, India a few years ago. Lovey service and very very good curries. Somehow they’ve managed to develop great flavor without driving each dish with tons of spice (for me, uncomfortable hear). Utterly delicious.
This is definitely the best restaurant in Prague. Incredible food and the service is just amazing. A place with a beautiful human energy 🏆🌞🏆
One of the best restaurant of Prague which serves authentic indian food. Must visit place if you crave for an indian food or you are someone who wants to try Indian cuisine.
Great food, nice atmosphere and extremely kind staff.
This was the best food I ever had! We had a Dal and a Chicken Tikka Masala, and paneer jamun for dessert. The food was marvellously amazing.12/10, will eat there again (when I’m back in Prague)
Amazingly good, fast, friendly, clean, well located, not crowded and fairly priced. An easy five stars for this lovely Indian restaurant in Prague.
So good. Proper, authentic Indian food. We visited the restaurant while visiting from the UK. We were missing some flavours from home and craving a curry, they did not disappoint. Everything we ordered was perfect, I would particularly recommend the samosas which are proper homemade pastry and the biryani was incredible, tender meat and deliciously cooked rice. Very friendly staff and very good English spoken.
Very nice food! I am fun of Indian food and have visited many restaurants but here food just delicious! Nice service and definitely my recommendation. We will come back, once in Prague.
The first address when I recommend an indian restaurant in Prague to friends. The food is delicious, the service nice and courteous. Eaten there three times so far, not once regretted!
Amazing amazing place. The Chicken Tikka Masala was incredibly tasty, and the garlic nan crispy and delicious.Plain rice was also good.Portions were big.Service was courteous.Im very satisfied.
Lovely decor - really authentic. As for the food, I do agree that it is overpriced, and there isnt that much of a choice on the menu. Our starters were a let down - the onion bhaji could have been anything. Basically it was a mix of garam flour and something else...if I ate it blindfolded I wouldnt know what it was. The vegetable pakora was tasty, but the pastry it was in was far too thick. The accompanying sauces were Ok - not a lot of flavour, but not offensive. The mains were fine, but nothing to write home about.Would we return, probably not.The Czech Republic isnt a place known for good curries, although this might suit local palates rather than those who are used to UK curries.
Its a really nice place with a really nice service. The food was amazing with normal portions. Ideal for dinner ☺️
Good location- its within the old town there a short walk from the sightsGood ambience and great serviceBut the FOOD WAS VERY DISAPPOINTING. May be I got unluckily. Cant say. I ate there just once and it wasnt worth the hype. I dont mind the price if the taste is worth the money but sadly it wasnt. The very basic dal makhani was too bitter to even finish. The bread basket was good though.
Had dinner here two times while my visit in Prague in last three days. Restaurant Atmosphere and ambiance was really nice as the decor was like an old royal style. Food was really tasty as well. Taste feel like real authentic indian/Pakistan food. We had chicken tikka, traditional chicken curry, chicken biryani and lamb biryani and everything taste really good. The service was also very good. I would definitely recommend this place for desi Halal food.
Nice indian restaurant in Prague. Great ambiance and tasty food. Chai ki Kulfi is a must try.
Really good Indian food. Nice restaurant with good service.
Great food with delicious sauces, quick and polite service, white linen tableclothes, decorative pictures. Overall, a good experience, recommended.
Dinner here was an amazing experience. The food was supergood and service really fast, but most importantly the staff members were so kind and helpful with everything. They really care about the customers and are really funny and easy to get along with too, which is not too common in Prague. I would recommend this restaurant for everyone visiting or living in Prague :We will definetly be back soon!
Amazing vegan & spicy food, lovely service, Lucky is especially fantastic servant and pleasant personality.
Best Indian restaurant I have eaten at. I lived in London for 13 years so theyre a tone of Indian restaurant but I have never really been a fan. This restaurant completely changed my mind about this type of cuisine. I love food like every French person I am very critical about what I eat so honestly if you are hesitating about this place I will say you wont regret. Plus the stuff are amazing and very keen on making this experience a unique one. The restaurant is also very authentic as I was told every thing is from India.
Come for the staff & decor. Stay for the food. Best place to eat in Prague. Just delicious. Make it a must, if youre looking for somewhere to go. Perfect for vegetarians too.Just had to ask before I left for the owners to open a restaurant in Dublin.
Really cozy and romantic atmosphere. The staff is extremely professional and knowledgeable. The food was just scrumptious! Very nice veg alternatives.
This restaurant boasts traditional Indian specialists and offers something for every palate. Dine like a royal in this elegant (and spaciousrestaurant, and enjoy mouthwatering delicacies. Id ordered a Paneer Kadhai, Pindi Chane along with two bread baskets (that had a piece of naan, stuffed paratha, Tandoori roti and laccha paratha). Service was prompt and servers were extremely courteous. The overall experience was fantastic. The best part though? It didnt cost me an arm and a leg (CZK 780).If you are in Prague and want to grab some authentic Indian food, K The Two Brothers is the place youre looking for.
We found The Two Brothers through the Internet and me and my Boyfriend are more than surprised! The restaurant welcomed us really friendly (not very often in Praguewith a big smile, the food tasted amazing and more than authentic! The service was so good! I am not lying, when I am saying that this was by far the best Indian food that I have ever had! This was our last evening in Prague and I am glad that we could have had this outstanding experience. (I am in love with the samosasGO THERE!
OMG!The best Indian food Ive had in, not just in Prague, but one of the best Indian food Ive had in my life ever.We ordered "Dal Makhni", Garlic naan, butter naan. Plus two drinks. Total price was around 20 euroWorth every penny. I wish we had such restaurants in Berlin. It could not get any more authentic than this. Loved the food, loved the staff. Would go there everyday during my whole trip here in Prague
Interesting decoration, very international crowd, polite and fast service, large menu. The food was good, not excellent. Prices are on the higher side. Discussions because we wanted the tip on the credit card.
Amazing Food, great taste, amazing ambiance and set up. The place is clean and hygienic. You can customize the spicy level of the food to your taste. Staff is helpful and friendly. I had Chicken Briyani, the taste was amazing, just the right balance of flavors and spices. Taking away a star due to relatively higher prices.
One of the best Indian restaurant in Prague. We love Indian food so definitely will go again. Reservation is needed as it tends to be really crowded. The food was delicious, not extremely spicy unless you ask for a higher level of spiciness. It all seemed really fresh and very well combined. The waiters were really friendly and the atmosphere is also nice. The food smell which captures the whole restaurant is heavenly.
Simply wonderful place with nice interior decorated with authentic pictures and lamps in one hand and great Indian dishes in other. Food have quite rich taste, but not too spicy. To be honest according to prices and menu I think this restorant is less about place for one time then one where youll back once a week or few times a month - its just a pleasure to be there and try their dishes.
We arrived at the restaurant little early due to late arrival in Prague. We had no reservations but, were welcomed and provided table as there were no guests. Staff is really helpful. The overall ambiance is very good with Indian touch. The food is tasty and portions adequate. Recommend.
One of the best Indian restaurant in Prague. I wanted to have dinner on Friday but once I was there around 9 , to my surprise if was crowded and there are no empty table so I have to reserve the table for the next day. So if you plan to have your dinner over here its better to reserve before. Ambience is nice. Hospitality is also good, people talk better English. So good option for English speakers. Food was so tasty and perfect but it was expensive. But worth for the food. Totally recommend it.
